Metinvest will supply 90 thousand bulletproof vests to the Ukrainian defenders.
In particular, 10 thousand vests will be purchased abroad, while for the manufacture of 80 thousand vests 900 tons of special steel will be provided.
The company has started producing steel, from which plates with the thickness of 8 mm are made according to DSTU 8782.
The capacity is 90 tons per week. Already 250 tons of steel has been sent to partners for the bulletproof vests production. (Ukrainian metal)
