The transactions in cash in the process of metal procurement will be limited at 10,000 lei at the most. The initiative legislative on the amendment of the Fiscal Code, launched by a group of MPs of the faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), was backed by the parliament’s commission for economy, budget and finances on March 23.

The draft sees the compulsoriness of use by the taxation subjects and economic agents of electronic payment instruments, if transactions are concluded worth an overall sum, which exceeds the ceiling of 10,000 lei per month.

The goal of this norm is to limit the financial circuit in cash, promote electronic payment instruments, as well as to avoid the fiscal evasion.

To become law, the draft should be considered in parliament’s plenum. (Moldpres/Ukrainian metal)
