The Ukrainian Association of Secondary Metals (UAVtormet) forecasts that this year ferrous scrap procurement will decrease following a growth in 2021.
Average procurement is estimated at 3 million tons, down by 27.5%.
Scrap deliveries to metal companies will amount to 2.8 million tons, down by 15.7%, while export will drop from 615.7 thousand tons to 10-20 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
