Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant has started returning its furnaces to operation, after it decreased output in October due to a drop in demand for ferroalloys and another growth of electricity prices.

All the company employees have returned to work, and the enterprise is increasing output.

The furnaces Nos. 8 and 15 have already been switched on, with the No. 16 soon to follow. 11 out of 13 furnaces are expected to be operating.

In October, NZF shut down 5 furnaces. The output target was 35 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
