In October, Azovstal mastered the manufacture of 4 new types of metal under special orders.
In particular, for a customer in Belgium the company has produced slabs with corrected chemical composition taking into account requirement to impurities color, while some have been produced with lower nitrogen content.
Two steel grades – 2626 and 1611 – with low silicon and carbon content were produced for a company from Finland.
The plate shop produced sheets of S420NL steel grade for the construction of the Podolskiy Bridge in Kyiv. According to the customer order, the sheets have a copper content of 0.4-0.5%, which is necessary to increase its air corrosion resistance.
Since the start of the year, Azovstal has manufactured 19 new products for customers from all over the world. (Ukrainian metal)
