In April, Zaporizhstal produced 362.4 thousand tons of pig iron, up by 30.6% YoY.
Steel output grew by 49.4%, to 334.4 thousand tons, and rolled metal – by 27.6%, to 281.9 thousand tons.
The growth is due to capital repairs of blast furnaces Nos. 2 and 5, carried out in April 2020.
In January-April, the company produced 1512.2 thousand tons of pig iron, up by 7.8% YoY, 1331 thousand tons of steel, up by 12.4%, and 1126.3 thousand tons of rolled metal, up by 10.6%. (Ukrainian metal)
