Azovstal has spent 4.3 million UAH to buy the Laser Surface Velocimeter ProSpeed LSV-2100.
The Polytec GmbH laser meter has been installed in the converter shop.
“With the help of the LSV-2100 meter, the company provides for the manufacture of slabs at the continuous casting machines Nos. 3 to 5 with increased demands to sizes, both for domestic customers and for foreign”, the company manufacturing director Andrey Savchenko said. (Ukrainian metal)
