Ukrainian metal companies support the prolongation of the current export duty on scrap in the amount of 58 euro per ton.
“The export duty has brought a lot to the budget. Payments to the budget from the processed scarp exceeded export payments 8.5-fold. In September, the duty expires. We ask the government to keep the duty”, Ukrmetallurgprom CEO Alexander Kalenkov declared.
In order to prolong the duty, amendments must be made to the current legislation. (Ukrainian metal)
