In 2020, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) extracted 39 tons of gold, up from 36.5 tons in 2019.

This was the record-high result for Yakutia and the third largest in Russia.

The Taborniy and Gross mines of Nordgold yielded the most gold – 355.3 thousand ounces (11.05 tons).

Polyus Aldan extracted 7.5 tons of gold and Seligdar – 7 tons.

This year, the Nezhdaninskoye deposit of Polymetal will be commissioned. This is the largest deposit in Russia. Its reserves are estimated at 8.1 million ounces of gold equivalent. Its annual output is expected to reach 155-180 thousand ounces. (Ukrainian metal)
