In April, metal companies were provided with scrap for 94.2% and in the first 5 months – for 101.3%.
In May, scrap deliveries decreased by 44.6%, to 174.9 thousand tons, and in January-May – by 19.7%, to 1.1 million tons.
The largest consumers were Metinvest enterprises and Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Combine (41.2 thousand tons), Interpipe Steel (49.7 thousand tons) and ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih (22.4 thousand tons).
As of late May, metal companies stocked 160-615 thousand tons of scrap. (Ukrainian metal)
