Russia’s gold output rose by 9.29% YoY, to 343.54 tons in 2019, the Finance Ministry said citing the data on raw materials supplies to the refining plants.

Mined gold output rose by 8.22%, to 286.05 tons, and by-product gold output by 23.14%, to 19 tons, while secondary gold production grew by 11.31%, to 38.49 tons.

Russia’s silver output decreased by 11.05%, to 996.17 tons. Primary silver production fell by 2.13%, to 488.04 tons, while by-product silver output increased by 9.02%, to 338.5 tons, and secondary production of silver fell by 45.44%, to 169.59 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
