In April, Zaporizhstal produced 223.3 thousand tons of steel, down by 34.5% YoY.
Rolled metal manufacture dropped by 23.2%, to 222.2 thousand tons, and pig iron – by 27.4%, to 277.5 thousand tons.
The decrease is due to the capital repair of blast furnaces Nos. 2 and 5 and the market situation.
In 4 months the company produced 1.403 million tons of pig iron (-6.3% YoY), 1.183 million tons of steel (-13.6%) and 1.02 million tons of rolled metal (-12.7%). (Ukrainian metal)
