In January-March, Kamchatka region extracted 1234 kg of gold and 3 tons of silver, down by 6% and by 4% YoY respectively.
In particular, Zoloto Kamchatky extracted 906 kg of gold: Ametistovoye – 685 kg (-2%), KamGold – 36 (-37%) and Kamchatskoye Zoloto – 212 kg (+71%).
At the same time, Trevozhnoye Zarevo decreased output by 44%, to 213 kg, while SiGMA increased 2-fold, to 124 kg.
Alluvial gold season will start in late May – early June.
This year Kamchatka intends to extract 5315 kg of gold (5300 kg of ore gold and 15 kg of alluvial gold). (Ukrainian metal)
