Karelsky Okatysh is carrying out a project to improve product quality by using lime.
Investments in the project this year will amount to 550 million rubles.
In particular, it was decided to modernize the MAERZ lime calcinating furnace.
It was built in 1995, but never commissioned.
Limestone will be delivered from the Belorucheyskoye deposit.
The MAERZ furnace will be commissioned in Q3 2021. (Ukrainian metal)
