In January-February, Irkutsk region extracted 2732.5 kg of gold, up by 17% YoY.
At present only ore gold is mined.
Thus, Polyus Verninskoye has extracted 1439.9 kg of gold, Vysochaishiy – 724.6 kg, Ugakhan – 409.6 kg and Druza LLC – 158.4 kg.
Alluvial season will start in June. This year, some 30 enterprises will operate at gold sands.
Until the end of the year it is planned to extract 22 tons of gold. Last year the region obtained 25257 kg of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
