The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Magadan region expects gold output this year to amount to 46 tons.
Last year 46.355 tons were extracted. Polyus Magadana yielded the most gold – 12.888 tons, or 27.8% of the total output.
Polymetal extracted 6.985 tons of gold, and Pavlik deposit yielded 6.698 tons.
Silver extraction is expected to decrease to 595 tons due to the thinning of the reserves. Last year the region yielded 661.6 tons of silver, while in 2018 – 696.3 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
