In December 2019 Russia imported 9.3 thousand tons of copper scrap and wastes, down by 6% MoM, but up 4-fold YoY.
Deliveries from Germany dropped by 38%, to 1.5 thousand tons, and from Kyrgyzstan – from 902 to 554 tons.
In 2019 imports totaled 57.6 thousand tons, up by 109% YoY.
In monetary terms imports have increased by 89%.
Price in December 2019 grew from $5.2 to $5.3 per kg. (Ukrainian metal)
