In January metal companies received some 2 million tons of iron ore raw materials, down by 19% YoY, with 3.96 million tons exported, up by 20%.
By-product coke plants received 1.03 million tons of coking coal, down by 18%: 0.37 million tons of domestic coal, up by 43%, and 0.66 million tons of imported, down by 34%.
Coke delivered to metal companies totaled 685 thousand tons, down by 16%, with all the coke being of domestic make.
Metal companies also received 184 thousand tons of scrap, down by 20%. This was the whole volume procured in January. No scrap was exported. (Ukrainian metal)
