In 2019 Russia imported 7.196 million tons of ferrous metals, up by 0.6% YoY, valued at $5028 million, down by 5%.

According to the Federal Customs Service, the import of ferrous metals without pig iron, ferroalloys, wastes and scrap grew by 2.3%, to 5.815 million tons.
