In January-February Russia imported 0.86 million tons of ferrous metals, down by 23.5% YoY.
In February imports fell by 14% MoM, to 0.458 million tons.
According to the Federal Customs Service, the import of ferrous metals not counting pig iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap totaled 0.726 million tons, down by 13.5% YoY. In February imports grew by 18% MoM, to 0.393 million tons.
The import of steel pipes increased in January-February by 13.9%, to 0.098 million tons, with 0.046 million tons imported in February, down by 13.7% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
