In 2019 Zabaikalye railroad transported 209.1 thousand tons of TEU containers, up by 32.3% YoY.
In particular, transportation of metal wares grew by 43.5%, to 28.3 thousand containers, ferrous metals – more than 2-fold, to 4 thousand containers, and non-ferrous metals – by 16.3%, to 2.4 thousand containers.
At the same time transportation of ferrous scrap dropped by 8.1%, to 9.7 thousand containers. (Ukrainian metal)
