In January-November 2019 Russia exported 37.575 million tons of ferrous metals, down by 11.1% YoY.

According to the Federal Customs Service, exports without pig iron, ferroalloys, scrap and wastes dropped by 10.4%, to 24.883 million tons.

Sales of carbon steel semi-finished products fell by 6.8%, to 13.433 million tons, and flat rolled steel – by 15.6%, to 6.402 million tons.

Metal and metal wares exports accounted of 9% of total exports in 11 months down from 9.8% in 2018. (Ukrainian metal)
