In January-November Russian Railroads transported 4.53 million containers (TEU), up by 12.2% YoY.
Domestic transportation grew by 8.6%, to 1.89 million TEU, transit – by 5.3%, to 521.5 thousand containers, exports – by 12.6%, to 1.16 million TEU and imports – by 24%, to 968.8 thousand containers.
In particular transportation of ferrous metals increased by 12.6%, to 126.9 thousand TEU, non-ferrous metals – by 5.7%, to 104.5 thousand containers and metal wares – by 8.4%, to 262.7 thousand TEU. (Ukrainian metal)
