Gold production rose by 10.92% YoY, to 268.638 tons, in January-September, the Union of Gold Producers of Russia said in a report on December 2.

Mined gold production increased by 9.6%, to 213.518 tons, and by-product gold production by 11.1%, to 12.99 tons, while gold scrap production grew by 13.2%, to 28.417 tons, and gold concentrate production by 30%, to 13.713 tons.

The union expects that Russia’s gold production will increase by 6.1%, to 350 tons, in 2019. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
