In January-October Zabaikalye Railroad transported 172 thousand tons of containers, up by 33.7% YoY.
In particular, domestic transportation accounted for 47.2 thousand TEU (+14.4%), transit – 43.5 thousand TEU (+46.7%), export – 2.9 thousand containers (-23.9%) and import – 78.3 thousand TEU (+45.4%).
The railroad transported 22.9 thousand TEU of metal wares (+44.1%), 8.8 thousand TEU of ferrous scrap (on the level of 2018), 3.1 thousand containers of ferrous metals (up more than 2-fold), 2 thousand TEU of non-ferrous metals (+17.5%) and 669 containers of metal structures (up more than 4-fold).
