In January-September Kamchatka extracted 4322 kg of gold, including 4305 kg of ore gold and 18 kg of alluvial gold.
Silver output totaled 7.3 tons.
Compared with the 9 months of 2018, gold output grew by 9%, while that of silver decreased by 6%.
Three gold-extracting enterprises were able to increase output: SiGMA produced 350 kg, up almost 6-fold, Kamchatskoye Zoloto – 473 kg, up 1.8-fold, and Trevozhnoye Zarevo – 1060 kg, up by 15%.
At the same time Kamgold and Ametistovoye decreased output by 70% and 5%, to 71 kg and 2345 kg respectively.
This year Kamchatka intends to extract 6400 kg of gold and 16.5 tons of silver. (Ukrainian metal)
