The combined gold production of companies in Magadan region rose by 21% YoY, to 36.1 tons in January-September, the region’s government said in a statement on October 22.
The region’s Tenkinsky City District is the leading gold producer with an output of 14.5 tons. Production of alluvial gold amounted to 15.8 tons in the period, the government said.
In 2018 companies of the region produced 37 tons of gold, and the plan for 2019 is 40 tons. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
