In September the Northern Railroads transported 5.4 million tons of cargo, up by 5% YoY.

Throughput in January-September was 49.3 million tons, up by 5.6%.

In particular, 6 million tons of ferrous metals were transported, up by 1.3%, 3.7 million tons of coal, up by 32%, and 2.7 million tons of non-ferrous ores, up by 4%.

At the same time the transportation of ferrous ore dropped by 3.8%, to 0.8 million tons, and of ferrous scrap – by 0.9%, to 0.7 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
