In August Mechel-Materials produced over 82 thousand tons of crushed stone and almost 44 thousand tons of mineral additives to concrete mixes, up almost 2-fold YoY.
All the products were obtained as a result of metal manufacture wastes processing.
Crushed stone output grew by 70%.
In August the works processed over 126 thousand tons of blast furnace slag. This is 16 thousand tons more than originated at the Chelyabinsk Iron and Steel Works.
The mineral additive is obtained by grinding pig iron manufacture wastes of ChMK. (Ukrainian metal)
