In January-May Russia increased gold manufacture by 9.59% YoY, to 101.44 tons.

In particular, gold extraction totals 80.99 tons, up by 11.74%, secondary gold – 13.1 tons, down by 4.59%, and auxiliary gold – 7.35 tons, up by 15.93%.

Silver output dropped by 9.32%, to 383.654 tons, including 175.39 tons of extracted silver, down by 4.66%, 130.67 tons of auxiliary silver, down by 1.74%, and 77.58 tons of secondary silver, down by 26.91%.

For the first time the Ministry of Finances published precious metals output statistics in 2014.

In 2017 Russia produced 306.9 tons of gold and 1044.3 tons of silver, up by 6.4% and down by 4.1% YoY respectively. In 2018 the output was 314.4 tons of gold (+2.45%) and 1119.95 tons of silver (+7.24%). (Ukrainian metal)
