In August coal output and exports fell by 6.1% and by 1.6% respectively, to 34.4 million tons and 17.1 million tons.

The increase in exports is possible with the improvement of the railroad infrastructure in the eastern parts of Russia.

The non-ferrous metals saw a drop of sales both on the global market (by 13%) and domestic (by 9.3%).

Outer demand for ferrous metals is also decreasing – by 22%, while the domestic market witnesses a slight increase in demand – by 1.1%. (Ukrainian metal)
