In January-August Ukrainian seaports exported 16.3 million tons of iron ore raw materials, up by 36.9% YoY.

In particular, the port Pivdenniy increased exports by 46.3%, to 16.1 million tons, and port Chernomorsk – 10-fold, to 181.2 thousand tons.

In August export prices dropped by 20-25%, to $88-93 per ton, and exports – by 20.8% MoM, to 2.2 million tons.

At the same time transit grew 3.2-fold, to 751.9 thousand tons. In January-August transit increased by 158% YoY, to 2.4 million tons.

Port Pivdenniy increased transit the most – by 170%, to 2.1 million tons.

Ismail port transited 55.8 thousand tons of iron ore raw materials, up by 57%, while exports fell by 2.9%, to 2.2 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
