In 2015-2018 Interpipe lost some 14% of the Ukrainian market of seamless hot-rolled pipes.
The drop is due to the growth of Chinese products on the Ukrainian market, which are sold at dumping prices.
“There has not been such a growth before. But in 2018 Chinese deliveries began increasing drastically resulting in such damage. As a result our share on the local market decrease by 14%”, the group CFO Denis Morozov said. (Ukrainian metal)
