Ukrmetallurgprom believes that in September 1.85 million tons of steel will be produced in Ukraine.
According to the enterprise information, pig iron output would be 1.75 million tons and rolled metal – 1.65 million tons.
As of August 13, 17 out of 21 blast furnaces, 8 out of 9 open-hearth furnaces, 14 out of 16 converters, 5 out of 15 electric arc furnaces and all the 15 continuous casting machines were in operation. (Ukrainian metal)
