Kamchatskoye Zoloto, developing deposits in the Bystrinsky district of Kamchatka region, intends to commission the first stage of the Baranievsky Mine in the second quarter of 2020.

The mine is expected to yield 73 thousand tons of ore per year.

The second stage, during which the mine will reach the design capacity of 200 thousand tons of ore per year, will be commissioned in 2021.

In 2022 the third and the fourth stages of the mine will start operating.

The first stage will be in development for 6 years. During that time the company intends to extract 808 thousand tons of ore with the average gold content of 7.51-9.09 g per ton and silver – 5.18-5.39 g per ton.

Investments in the project are estimated at 2.1 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
