Specialists of Severo-Kavkazskoye manufacturing and geological enterprise, a part of Rosgeologia, have discovered a gold ore interval with the size of 28.4 meters and average gold content of 4.3 g per ton in the central part of the Yuzhno-Podolskoye ore occurrence in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

It has been known for 40 years, but has been considered to contain less gold (0.2-0.5 g per ton) and high concentration of zinc (3.5% and more) and copper of 0.5%.
