OMZ-Spetsstal has concluded a contract with MMK to produce rolls for the plate-rolling mill-4500.
The contract provides for the manufacture of 4 supporting rolls with the weight of 52.3 tons, the length of around 7 meters, the barrel diameter of 1250 mm and the length of 4500 mm.
The rolls have to be produced of 60XH steel and must be delivered in 2020.
OMZ-Spetsstal is the only producer of heavy supporting rolls for plate-rolling mill-5000 in Russia.
At present there are only 3 such mills in Russia, and over 50 in the world. (Ukrainian metal)
