In May Russia exported 26.6 thousand tons of ferrosilicon, down by 23.2% MoM and by 23.7% YoY.

Deliveries to Japan dropped by a third, to 30%, and to Korea – almost 3-fold, to 2.5 thousand tons.

The Netherlands increased purchases of the Russian ferrosilicon by 18%, to 8 thousand tons.

In January-May Russia exported 160 thousand tons of ferrosilicon, down by 6.4% YoY.

In monetary terms since the start of the year the exports have decreased by 8.4%.

Export prices in May went down by 4%, to $1207 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
