In August Russia exported 23.8 thousand tons of ferrosilicon, down by 37% MoM and by 31.6% YoY.
Deliveries to the Netherlands grew almost 2-fold, to 7 thousand tons.
At the same time exports to Turkey dropped by 74%, to 1.5 thousand tons, to Japan – by 64%, to 5.8 thousand tons and to Korea – by 34%, to 3.8 thousand tons.
Exports in 8 months totaled 248.6 thousand tons, down by 14.3% YoY.
In monetary terms since the start of the year the exports have decreased by 19%.
In August export prices dropped by 4%, to $1165 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
