Anatoly Sedykh, owner of OMK, has assessed the Russian market of wheels.
“This year we plan to produce 950 thousand wheels, and next year we’ll increase the output by 50 thousand wheels. Evraz will increase output by 550 thousand pieces, to 1.5-1.6 million wheels. Moreover, there is also Interpipe on the Russian market, that’s 170-200 thousand wheels more. We are also expecting a new player – Prommashkomplect from Kazakhstan with some 250 thousand wheels. Thus, combined it is 2 million wheels, much more than the average need in Russia. And we don’t take into account the import of Chinese wheels”, he said. (Ukrainian metal)
