In January-May the Republic of Buryatia mined 1192.34 kg of ore gold, down by 16.7% YoY.
3 companies mine ore gold in the republic – Buryatzoloto, a part of Nordgold, Zapadnaya and Sininda 1 LLC (a part of Seligdar).
There is no information on alluvial gold output, as the washing season starts in April-June depending on weather and other conditions.
Sininda 1, Priisk Zipikanskiy, Vitimgeoprom and Kurba account for the largest alluvial gold output.
This year the republic intends to obtain at least 4800 kg of gold, including 2800 of ore gold and 2000 kg of alluvial gold. Last year the output was 5246.4 kg of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
