The drawing site of the Severstal Steel Ropes Volgograd subsidiary has implemented an accounting technique resulting in the increase in the operation efficiency.
The changes are related to the system of every wire drawer output fixation. Now all the work is accounted, including the weight of the unfinished coil.
“The changes made to the accounting system allow increasing one mill output by 200 kg per shift. In a month the efficiency could amount to 100-150 tons of wire”, the company director Denis Tavrikov said. (Ukrainian metal)
