In April, Ukraine produced 1.938 million tons of steel, up by 12.6% YoY.
Thus the country was able to go up one place in the world steel manufacturers rating, according to World Steel Association.
China is in the lead with 85 million tons of steel, up by 12.7%.
Russia decreased output by 8.3%, to 5.6 million tons.
Altogether 64 countries produced 156 million tons of steel in April, up by 6.4% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
