In January-February metal companies decreased rolled metal consumption by 16.2% YoY, to 555.9 thousand tons.
Imports accounted for 186.9 thousand tons, or 33.6%.
In January-February 2018, the domestic market consumed 663.1 thousand tons of rolled metal, including 193.1 thousand tons, or 29.1% of imported metal.
In 2 months Ukraine produced 3.08 million tons of rolled metal, down by 0.7% YoY. 2.71 million tons, or 88%, were exported. (Ukrainian metal)
