This year Sakhalin region has to mine at least 11.4 million tons of coal.
Solntsevskiy Coal Pit LLC must provide for the main volume – 7 million tons.
Gornyak-1 LLC is expected to yield 1.9 million tons, Boshnyakovsky Coal Pit LLC – 1 million tons, Sakhalinugol-3 LLC – 850 thousand tons and Western Coal Company LLC – 450 thousand tons.
The rest (160 thousand tons) will be provided by Mangiday LLC, Severs LLC and Sakhalin Power Energy LLC.
Last year the region mined 10.88 million tons of coal, up by 38% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
