According to the authorities of the Magadan region, as of January 1, there were 168 enterprises with license for subsoil use in the region.
Of them 100 were developing alluvial gold and 9 – ore gold and silver.
Last year 37 tons of gold were extracted, up by 4 tons YoY. In 2 years gold output has grown by 9 tons.
The best five gold companies are Omolonskaya Gold Ore Company and Serebro Magadana (6616.7 kg of gold), Pavlik (655 kg), Susumanzoloto (5491.3 kg), Polyus Magadan (4177.6 kg) and Arbat (2530.7 kg). Combined they accounted for 25.4 tons of gold, or 68.6%.
Alluvial gold extraction totaled 17.977 tons, up by 198 kg,
Ore gold output kept growing – by 3.8 tons, to 19.989 tons.
Since 2016 silver extraction has been falling. Last year the output decreased by 83 tons, to 696.4 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
