Average salary in the metal and mining industry in Ukraine is 2 times higher than the monthly wages of financial and law workers.
According to the Federation of metallurgists, in December 2018 the average salary of Ukrainian metal makers ranged between 10 thousand UAH and 26.9 thousand UAH.
In particular, a typical blast furnace gas worker earned 26.9 thousand UAH, steel maker – 26.5 thousand UAH, and the locomotive driver – 24.6 thousand UAH. The average salary of various repairmen was 13.4-14.5 thousand UAH
