In order to improve competitiveness Azovstal is mastering the manufacture of new products.
Among them are 300 mm thick slabs adapted to the requirements of customers from Europe and Asia.
To produce them, one continuous casting machine in the converter shop has been modernized.
So far the company has already shipped 10 thousand tons of new slabs to Ferriera Valsider and Metinvest Trametal, Italy.
Another novelty for the company is the rolled sheet ST3sp with the thickness of 7 mm (the minimal thickness at the mill-3600 was 8 mm). (Ukrainian metal)
