In 2018 VSMPO purchased and commissioned 80 units of new machinery.
The company also repaired 280 machines, spending 850 million rubles.
In particular, 15 mills were modernized, with 7 of them also capitally repaired.
The most expensive was the modernization of the cold-rolling mill-2000 electric drives in the rolling shop No. 16. It cost 41 million rubles. The repair started in early December 2018, and was expected to be finished on February 3.
Since mid-2011 under the modernization program VSMPO has assembled 135 bridge cranes. This year 9 cranes will be replaced. (Ukrainian metal)
