In 2018 Kamchatka region mined 20 thousand tons of coal, down by 7% YoY.
At present only one company is developing coal deposits in the region – Palana-Ugol LLC.
It is developing the Palanskoye coal deposit. And the mining volume directly depends on customer orders.
Last year Kamchatka imported 60 thousand tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
